Privacy Notice
This short notice applies to everyone using the evooia app, whatever your role. Once you sign in, we show you the privacy information, consents and settings that match your role — patient or clinic — including the explicit consent we ask for before the first photo is captured and, where applicable, shared with your connected clinic or professional.
Who we are
evooia is a Swiss software solution for before-and-after photo documentation and communication, provided by Mojo Innovation AG, Beethovenstrasse 41, 8002 Zurich, Switzerland. evooia helps capture clear, comparable before-and-after photos of treatments, store them securely, and support communication between patients and professionals.
evooia does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and does not replace professional judgement. Always consult a qualified professional about medical questions, diagnosis or treatment.
What we collect
- Account details — your name and email address, to create and protect your account.
- Images and metadata — photos you capture, together with technical details such as timestamps.
- Messages — if you use chat or communication features in the app.
- Diagnostics and analytics — crash and usage data, pseudonymised where feasible, to improve the stability, security and quality of the app.
Health images
Before-and-after photos can contain health-related data and are treated with extra care. We ask for your explicit consent in the app before the first photo is captured and, where applicable, shared with the clinic or professional connected to your account — never silently.
Because before-and-after documentation and communication with your clinic or professional are core features of evooia, images and content you capture may be shared by default with the clinic or professional connected to your account, where you have given the required consent.
You can disable sharing of new images and content for the future in the app or inform your clinic or professional. Content that has already been shared may continue to be processed and retained where this is necessary for care, documentation, security, legal obligations or legitimate record-keeping.
Who controls your data
If you are linked to a clinic, the clinic controls your treatment content, and evooia stores and processes it securely on the clinic’s behalf. If you use evooia independently, Mojo is responsible for your data. You will see the full details for your situation after sign-in in the privacy information that applies to your role.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on secure servers in Switzerland, currently with Microsoft Azure. We use encryption in transit and at rest, as well as strict access controls.
We use selected and vetted providers to operate the service securely and reliably. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data without your consent, except where this is necessary to operate the service, work with your connected clinic or professional, protect the security of the service, or comply with legal obligations.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, ask for inaccurate data to be corrected, request deletion of your data, and withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
Where a clinic controls your treatment content, we support the clinic in handling your request. Legal retention obligations and processing that already took place lawfully before withdrawal are not affected by withdrawal.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you in the app or by email.
